About the artist
“Silva, a graffiti artist who grew up in Cathedral City, has painted murals for Westfield Palm Desert and its annual Street Festival. He also has clients all around the Coachella Valley, such as iPay Solutions, The Barber Shop Palm Desert, The Sand Box Kitchen, CC Metal Fabrication, and others.”
Pete Salcido owns Flat Black Art Supply, an art supply store that sells spray paint and apparel, and said Silva's work stands out, making it easy to recognize.
"Cody's skill set is unique," Salcido said. "It's not your everyday art. I think that's also what makes people interested in it, too. Cody has a lot of talent and he's getting better every time. I think he'll go very far with what he's doing."
